The Wedding of Barrie and Natalie

Saturday 30th March 2013

Gloves were on for the early morning staging shots as my fingers nearly dropped off in the bitter cold.

With the ceremony set at the beautiful Highcliffe Castle, Dorset, the bridal preparations at Natalie’s parents house and the reception at Christchurch Harbour Hotel travelling was all made very easy being that all three venues were within half a mile of each other.

Barrie and Natalie embraced their day, which was highlighted when they both braved the freezing conditions with added wind chill to take to the beach for their photos and we clearly determined to stick to the itinerary. I would of course have given up my coat but it would have looked odd in the photos and footage!!!!

Christchurch Harbour Hotel with its stunning waterfront location made for dramatic footage against the backdrop of the mud banks in the fading light.

Soon after the setting off of Chinese lanterns was a great way to signify that darkness had descended and that the evening party should begin!!!

A beautiful day. A great couple. Congratulations Barrie and Natalie.
